Tunes to Crank

I’ve done a bunch of driving this past week. While I’m so grateful that my sister and her family are in Colorado, the fact that they don’t live anywhere close to me bums me out. As I’ve stated before, they could live five minutes away and that would suit me just fine. But the drive is worth it to spend time with my ity-bity niece.

All the time I’ve spent in the car lately has been made better by music. Country music to be exact. Currently, these are the songs that make me crank up the volume the minute they come on:

I could play this game all day long, but I’ll stop for now.

I love these songs! I am going to watch all the videos here soon though because I have never seen them =). FYI, Kenny looks a bit strange without his hat on ;). Also, Pontoon, I HATED that song when I first heard it, now one of my favs. Good choice in music!

  2. Glad you like them! Yes, Kenny doesn’t look right without his hat on. Kinda like Tim McGraw. And I really hate the video for Come Over, btw. Seems pretentious as hell. And I agree on Pontoon. My initial reaction was, “This is everything wrong with country music!” But then it totally grew on me!

  • About Me

My mother is an encyclopedia of useless information (sorry, ma, but it's true) - no one can beat her at Trivial Pursuit. As I age, I become more like dear old mom everyday. I routinely tell people about resources, recipes, tips, tricks, or websites I've heard about, tried, live by, etc. until one of my clients urged me to start a blog. So here it is! My perpetual ramblings. I hope you find them useful and amusing. If you don't, you can either keep it to yourself or leave me a well constructed critique.

I'm a former massage therapist, a freelance journalist, and a web information architect and UX designer. I enjoy yoga, the Bar Method, camping, reading, gardening, and spending time with my friends and loved ones. I live in Colorado.
