The very delicate way in which my parent’s dog takes treats from you. She is so, so gentle with her mouth. It’s adorable.- The revamped AMC theater at Flatirons Crossing Mall here in CO. Huge, plush leather recliners and absolutely no way for someone’s head to block your view or their foot to kick your chair is awesome! Add in the fact that you can get alcohol in the lobby to bring in with you and it’s happiness all around.
- A shorter hairdo. I took about three inches off, which isn’t a ton. But it feels different and new, which I like.
- Reminders that the short-term, feel-good solution isn’t always the best route and that staying the course usually pans out better in the long run.
- How the lessons I’ve learned from chronic pain can be beneficial to others.

My mother is an encyclopedia of useless information (sorry, ma, but it's true) - no one can beat her at Trivial Pursuit. As I age, I become more like dear old mom everyday. I routinely tell people about resources, recipes, tips, tricks, or websites I've heard about, tried, live by, etc. until one of my clients urged me to start a blog. So here it is! I'm a former massage therapist, a freelance journalist, and a web information architect and UX designer.
